Tates Travel operate a number of services in the remote Pennine areas, sometimes these roads are ungritted and unsafe to operate on. In conjunction with advice from our insurers we will not operate this year, as last, on roads which are ungritted, this is on health and safety grounds. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you, and suggest that any complaints be forwarded to your relevant council gritting teams. We will always endeavour to operate all routes when possible, but the safety of the passenger, our driving staff and our vehicles are of paramount importance to our company.
